The Royal Tank Regiment (RTR) is one of the oldest tank regiments in the British Army, established in 1916 during World War I. It was the first regiment to be specifically formed for the use of tanks in battle, marking a significant evolution in modern warfare. In addition to combat operations, the RTR has ceremonial roles, including participation in events such as Trooping the Colour. The regiment also has a strong sense of tradition, with a rich history and distinctive insignia that reflect its long-standing heritage in the British Army.
Our Regimental collection, a range of military socks, was commissioned by HRH The Prince of Wales. Working in partnership with Combat Stress, for every pair sold we donate a percentage to support the mental health charity for war veterans.

Our mid-calf/crew socks offer a snug and supportive fit that offers breathable comfort and stretch without losing shape. The men's crew length is 11.5" and finishes at the mid-calf, with a small ribbed cuff which stays in place without slipping or feeling too tight around the leg. The fabric is a lightweight flat knit cotton and our expertly finished toe seams are smooth and comfortable during wear and have a reinforced heel for durability. Crafted from 75% Cotton 25% Nylon offering a luxuriously soft feel against the skin. Breathable and moisture-wicking, our bestselling everyday sock provide all-day comfort and freshness . Our cotton mix is beautifully comfortable providing an excellent fit and durability whilst retaining its colour. Wash at 30'C and avoid tumble drying.
