Last month saw our socks included in the gift bags handed out to President Obama and other World Leaders at the NATO summit in Newport – this month it was the stars of Wales’ film and television industry treated to a gift from Corgi, as our socks were included in the special gift bags handed out to nominees for this year’s BAFTA Cymru Awards.
The BAFTA Cymru Awards are held annually to honour excellence in broadcasting and production within film and television in Wales. The nominations for this year’s Awards were announced back in in September but last night (October 9th) saw the nominees gather at an exclusive event in Cardiff.

Each nominee was presented with an special gift bag containing gifts from Welsh brands including Corgi, Penderyn Whisky, Tregroes Waffles and Cardiff Blues and also British and international brands such as John Lewis, Charles Worthington and L’Occitane en Provence.
In return for contributing to the gift bags, our Directors Chris and Lisa will be attending the BAFTA Cymru Awards Ceremony when it is held at the Wales Millennium Centre on October 26th– where they will of course be keeping an eye out for nominees sporting their Corgi socks!
